The footbed part of the "shoe" is a Pepperidge Farm Milano cookie. The heel is a Pepperidge Farm Pirouette cookie, cut in half, and glued to the Milano cookie with melted white chocolate. To create the front of the shoes, I piped a dome of icing, then covered it in a circle of rolled fondant, which I'd trimmed a little bit. Then I added fondant decorations and piped along the footbed of the shoe with matching buttercream.
Precious, huh? These are for a friend's daughter who is turning 6, and is having a Pretend Slumber Party tonight! My 6 year old was so excited to dress up in her favorite Barbie jammies, ready to paint her nails, play silly games, etc. What a cute idea for little girls!
*~* Happy Birthday Anna! *~*
To cute! This reminds me of a cake I made our daughter (nothing to do with shoes!)It was a water slide cake that I used mini chocolate donuts as inner tubes and piped little people on them.
